Youth Health Action Council (YHAC)

YHAC is a new initiative out of the Young Women's Project's PHASE Program.
YHAC is an afterschool student club that provides a space for students to learn about reproductive health issues and to take action to address those issues to improve their own lives and the lives of their peers. Students will gain knowledge and skills including leadership development and advocacy skills while working to better their communities.
Each YHAC will raise awareness about the issues that are most pressing in their own school and neighborhood communities. The members will work together to identify potential strategies for improving the conditions they are not satisfied with.
If you're interested in learning about reproductive health and developing great leadership skills, please fill out this application to be a member of the Young Women's Project YHAC program.
Be a leader in your school and community today! If you have any questions, please contact Shana Bartley, Young Women's Project Staff, at (202) 332-3399 or shanabartley@youngwomensproject.org. Thank you!!!
